Although QuickBooks Premier is an official function called Inventory Builds, QuickBooks Pro does. Here is a work on QuickBooks Pro users who need to build a unique inventory item from existing parts stocks. This is useful for at least two reasons:

Business owners innovative ideas can have property they want to keep. Taking into individual parts, you may want to sell as a single group with its own brand.
The bills are long and cumbersome. Grouping of individual items sold together as a unit can be a good solution.

Follow these instructions to produce a single piece of inventory of individual inventory items:

1. From the vendor menu, select the items received. Make sure the screen says: Article only receipt and invoice receipt box is unchecked.

2. In the Vendor box, scroll above to create a new provider called Inventory Only for versions. After this a new "vendor" is created, select the date today, and let reference and amount fields blank. In the memo line, a kind of brief explanation of what he is doing.

3. On the Items tab, select all parts inventory you want to mount. Make sure the amount is a negative number, based on how many of each individual element used in the new element.

4. Then in the Item column, scroll up to create a new party theme inventory. Assign a name or number that is meaningful for you. Do not enter a cost in the cost table. Select a sales account, and refilling any other information they need, as the passive condition or price sale. Click Save and Close.

5. Back only item on the receipt screen, the new item should appear automatically. Enter the total amount of the top line (in the purple section) as a positive amount in the Cost column of the new item. The previous total (in the purple section), now should switch to zero. Enter the amount of the new item as one.

Before saving, take a moment to look at what you've done. Can you see how it is, simply reducing the number and dollar cost of each party, while increasing the number and dollar cost of the new? To the extent you are sure you have entered the correct amount and type of individual parts, and zeros to the cost column (as evidenced by the number zero in the whole field of purple section), which has completed the operation successfully. QuickBooks will prompt you to update the topic with the new cost. Select Yes Click Save and New, or Save and Close, as appropriate.

By following these instructions, you have deducted the individual parts of their inventory, adding a new section with the same exact cost. The net change in dollar realized asset inventory is zero. Accounts Payable Reports are not affected, and is now free to use this new item on customer bills.
